A-Filter is an analog-modelled dynamic stereo filter which integrates seamlessly into our Elements modular series. It combines a highly tweakable envelope follower with a dual filter, complete with 8 all-new filter types. In addition, it can plug into DS-LFO for modular stereo CV manipulation.
In contrast with Elements Filter, A-Filter offers substantially different (A)nalog-modelled filter algorithms, a warmer drive function, and self-oscillation. All this comes with a slightly greater CPU hit, so which Element you chose to use will depend largely on the task at hand.
A-Filter is available separately, or as part of our Elements bundle.
LIQUID ANALOG SOUND
A-Filter features 8 analog-modelled filter types, including “2x” variations which combine two filters in series or parallel to create a vast range of rich tones. In contrast with our regular filter, A-Filter offers substantially different algorithms, a warmer drive function, and self-oscillation.
Used either as a standalone device or as part of a modular/multiband setup, A-Filter is an exceptional creative tool for sound designers and musicians alike.
Included analog-modelled algorithms:
- LP4 (2x LP2)
- HP4 (2x HP2)
- DJ HP/LP2
- DJ HP/LP4
ON-BOARD DYNAMIC MODULATION.
A-Filter features the same dynamic modulation that made our Triad series so popular. With A-Filter’s on-board envelope follower, which is freely assignable to all the major controls, you have full access to depth and feel of the modulation.
Combined with our rich selection of filter types, the potential for audio sculpting is essentially limitless.
OFF-BOARD STEREO CV MODULATION.
In line with the modular philosophy of our Elements series, A-Filter features stereo CV inputs on primary controls, which when hooked up to our DS-LFO device (available separately for FREE), provide additional, fully customisable stereo modulation.
This is an exclusive implementation which truly embraces Reason’s modular concept and allows for effects which were impossible... until now.
Elements is a series of mini devices derived from our Triad Multiband series. Each device has been carefully crafted to isolate and enhance specific “elements” of Triad, and integrate together modularly, through stereo CV modulation and slick, unified design.
Used either as standalone devices or as part of a modular or multiband setup, each Element is an exceptionally creative tool for sound designers and musicians alike.
Whether you're after wild and wicked sounds or a fresh array of bread-and-butter micro effects, Elements are simple yet versatile enough to become a staple in any Reason-head's arsenal.
They are, after all, elementary.
