BIAS FX is the world's most authentic analog sounding amp-and-effects processor for Mac/PC. It’s designed from the ground up with no-compromise mindset on sound quality and it comes with all the greatest and latest algorithms from Positive Grid's audio signal processing research. With BIAS FX, you can build your own virtual custom pedal boards in dual signal chains, import BIAS Amp Match profiles, and share and download thousands of presets on ToneCloud - Positive Grid’s ever expanding social network of tones.
BIAS FX Std features:
- Plug-In and Stand Alone Operation
- 12 amps and 30 effects
- Custom design your own pedalboard
- Download pedalboards from ToneCloud
BIAS FX is not just a studio tool and you can set it for live performance, because thanks to the Global Settings, you can optimize BIAS FX’s output to sound the best in any environment—including sending to a mixer, amp head or combo or stack power amp—by letting you EQ and selectively deactivate the app’s preamp, tonestack, power amp and cab separately for each destination.
Authentic analog sounding processing: BIAS FX is equipped with the most advanced DSP technology, allowing users to achieve a high quality tone with the most realistic analog sounding effects and amps. Our approach on engineering BIAS FX is simply no-compromise, from a detailed touch in distortion emulation to the double precision algorithm in chorus, we strive for the best possible sound quality. The result: 25 high-quality effect pedals, 5 ultra-professional rack processors , 12 classic amps and the possibility to import unlimited amp and effects models from BIAS AMP and BIAS PEDAL
Dual signal chain: BIAS FX features Dual signal path allowing users to combine the sound of two different stacks and create a stereo image with two different sounds. After the signal reaches the desired amp heads, there is a mixer on the other side of the chain, where users can set volumes, pans and delay in milliseconds. Just like a real life pedalboard, users can also sculpture their own tone, ordering the stompboxes chain with their personal preferences on either side of the amp.
ToneCloud : The ToneCloud® is the best way to sync your presets over devices, take your tone’s on the road with you with iOS, or share your presets and tones with a growing community all over the world! There are hundreds of pedal boards available on ToneCloud, and the banquet keeps getting bigger and bigger. We are always working with professional artists and session players from all over the world to create a massive, ever-growing community of virtual pedal boards and rigs for BIAS FX.
Cross platform: Now, when the moment of inspiration strikes, musicians are no longer limited to using patches created as factory presets and for the first time ever, it is possible to virtually create studio-quality guitar effects, pedal boards and rigs and run them identically on Mac, Windows and iOS mobile devices. Every saved or downloaded preset is synced across all platforms, so the tones created in the studio are the same exact ones that load in users' iPads onstage. BIAS FX gives players dead-on consistent tone across all devices, anywhere and everywhere.
